Anasazi Petroglyphs
Once again, I must say how lucky we are to live here in Southern Utah. We took a 10 minute drive from our house and then hiked up an easy half mile hike to these Petroglyphs. It was the perfect weather for a short hike. We hope to go to some bigger ones in a few weeks down on the Arizona Strip.
"M & M" Won!!!!!
For those of you who don't know, we are a Nascar family. Each of us has a driver or car we cheer for. Brad's family watches it every week, but I only watch the Vegas (and sometimes Phoenix) race. We got sweet tickets this year with pit passes, and hospitality tent passes and garage passes, and parking passes, etc. (Thanks Napa)Brad, Stephanie, and MaKayla went to Sat/Sun race and Doug and I drove down Sat. night. We stayed at the closest hotel to the racetrack, and got up early Sunday. Doug and MaKayla went in to the pits and she (and Stephanie) even got to start one of the cars. My guy #18 Kyle Bush started last and he won!!!! It is really the car I cheer for: the "M&M" car. It is painted so cool. MaKayla and I had a bet, that our driver would win, so I won the bet. She cheers for #24 Jeff Gordon. They were back and forth all day, but mine pulled ahead in the last few laps. My favorite part of the pre-race show is when the Thunderbirds fly in formation overhead. It is magnificant. They also had The Flying Elvis's land on the field in their parachutes.
