Doug and I looked online and found a 2022 Keystone Cougar we liked. We drove to Springville and stayed at Scott's house and then brought it home. We will have to fix a few cosmetic things , but overall it is in great shape. It has a control monitor that we control from our phones, to open the slide outs and the awning. It also has self leveling jacks. It is a 23 ft. so we should fit in more camping spots. It has LED lights on the outside for at night. We are hoping to go on a lot of fishing trips this summer. We had to downsize on what we can take, but we fit all the essentials. We have spent the last week cleaning it, buying a few new things for it, organizing, putting up new wallpaper, hanging up fishing poles, etc. We bought a new smart TV and installed it. Amelia has had fun playing in it while we worked on it. She loves turning on the little night light by the stairs. It has a slide out in the bedroom so we have a closet for our clothes now. It will be fun getting it all ready to go!!
Amelia - January 2026
We tend Amelia 2 days a week and we love it. She brings a lot of smiles to our lives. She loves to go to the park, or just run around outside. We go out whenever the weather is great. This month has been very warm, so we were outside a lot. She loves to swing on the log swing. She also like to play with the package mailbox. She is saying a lot of words, and learns so quickly. She is going to be 19 months old this weekend.
Selling Our 2013 Keystone Cougar - January 17th, 2026
I put or RV up for sale just to see what would happen, and the first guy that came wanted to buy it. He said it was in great condition. We have had it for almost 10 years. We have taken many fun camping trips in it. There are a lot of great memories with the grandkids fishing, etc. Doug wants to get a smaller one so we can fit in more places. I have hundreds of pictures of camping trips, but here are a few just so I can remember what it looked like. It was kind of sad seeing it drive away.
Last Leaves - January 10th, 2026
I can't believe it is the middle of January and we are out doing yard work. This winter has been so mild. No rain or storms at all. We have only had 2 fires in our fireplace and that was just because I wanted one. It has been very warm. Doug went out today and blew up the last of the leaves and then mowed the lawns. Hopefully, we will have a month before it starts all over again. We are getting tired of doing yard work every Saturday!!
