Amelia - 21 Months Old - March 30th, 2026

Amelia is 21 months old today. She loves to go in the 5th wheel and pretend she is going night night. She wants to be outside a lot, and like to help with yard work, and go play at the park. She brushes her teeth when I do. She likes music and dancing to the beat. She doesn't sit still long enough to listen to stories, and right now she just rips the books, so we will wait a little longer before more books. Here are pictures from this month.

Lilly's Birthday - March 28th, 2026

Lilly is 14 years old today. We went to their house tonight for cake and presents. She didn't want to go out to dinner, and Jessica is sick, so they had dinner in her room, and then we all had cake.

Kolob Reservoir - March 19th, 2026

Today, Doug and I decided to take a drive to Kolob Reservoir. We had camped there once maybe 25 years ago?? It is a lot longer drive than I remember. We had our fishing poles, but there was still snow, and it was melting, and very muddy, so we didn't fish. We just ate our picnic lunch and drove home. It was way too hot for March; 98 degrees.

Andy and Rocky - March 13-15th, 2026

We went to Page for the weekend. Andy got his driver's license today. To celebrate Rocky's birthday, the guys took the razor out . I don't remember the name of the place they went, but it looked really cool. Doug said it was fun. I stayed back with Emily and helped her to pin up her prom dress to get it hemmed. On Rocky's 13th birthday, I made him bacon and french toast, and then we played Scrabble before we drove home.

Easter Decorations - March 8th, 2026

Easter is 3 weeks away, so I decorated today. I want new decorations, but I decided to wait in case we move this year, and then I can see what I need. I love Easter decorations.

Puzzle - March 7th, 2026

We finished another puzzle. This one was pretty easy, and didn't take very long.

Snow Canyon State Park - March 3-4th, 2026

We decided to take the new RV for a test run, so we booked a campsite in Snow Canyon. It is only 10 minutes from our house, so if we needed anything it would be easy to come home. We had the prettiest view from the windows. It was beautiful weather. There is a new hike that tells all about the Desert Tortoises. At the end there is a huge bronze tortoise. We also hiked to the pioneer names that the pioneers wrote in the 1800's. We went for a couple of hikes. We went to the Petrified Dunes, which we had never hiked before. I couldn't hike very far, but what I saw was awesome. We realized the first day there, that the battery in the RV was not going to be enough to power what we needed. As soon as it got dark, we had no lights, and couldn't run the AC, or watch TV. And we found out that we needed a new water pump. So we left a day early and came home and ordered 2 new batteries, and a new water pump. It is a good thing we went for this quick trip, so we can be ready for the summer camping season.
