Great Friends!

Doug and I went to Zion for the weekend. At the last minute we called and invited some old friends (our friendship goes back to our teenage years) to come and go with us. They hadn't been there before so it was fun. We went to an art gallery (Fatali) and then went on 2 hikes, went out for Mexican food, had ice cream,and we rode the shuttle up and back and had lots of time to catch upon our families. The weather was perfect. It was a fun filled and jam packed day. Next time hopefully they will have more time. It also happened to be the Chinese Moon Festival. So we sat around the fire and looked up at the full moon (as it came out of the clouds), and I said a special prayer in my heart for Tonya, and for the birth mother of our yet unborn little granddaughter Danica. We hope that by this time next year Tonya and Kevin will be close to getting their referral to go to China and pick her up.
