Re Decorating

I am so proud of myself. Doug and I were tired of our worn out bedroom bedding, so we went shopping and found one we liked. I even found curtains to match. We think it looks pretty good. Most of all Doug is glad it works out because he didn't have to change the paint.

Emily and Andy

I'm tending Emily and Andy today. Here are some pictures I took. Andy sure looks like Brad at the same age. Emily has a cute new haircut.

Mandi's Quilt

Mandi at 2 weeks old with her favorite blankie!

Mandi (almost 5) with her new blankie!

Mandi Lynn has been dragging her old baby quilt around for almost 5 years now and I have repaired it so many times. It is almost just a rag now, so the other day I ran to the store and bought this cute material and sewed the binding around the edge and gave it to her.I washed her old one and told her we should put it away for a keepsake. She was so excited to get the new one, but the next time she came to visit...she was dragging around the old one. Oh well, it was fun making her this one.

Elephant Rock

While in Vegas, we took a day away from the city and drove to The Valley of Fire. It was an hour ride from Vegas. We spent the day exploring the Red Rocks. It looks a lot like Sedona or the red hills right here in St. George. Kevin and Tonya squeezed through some of the slots and found a cool cave. The formations were very cool!!

Year Of The Tiger

2010 is : "The Year Of The Tiger". We spent a few days in Las Vegas with Tonya and Kevin. We stayed at the Mandalay Bay. The casinos were all decorated for Chinese New Year. We also went to a show that had Elvis etc. in it. The picture is kind of blurry, but the show was fantastic. We also went to an Aquarium. It was a fun weekend.
