Disneyland - Day 8 (Part 2) - April 25th, 2015

Well, they made it. They stayed until Disneyland closed at midnight.  We went back on all of our favorites: It's A Small World, Pirates of The Caribbean, Tea Cups, Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo,  Splash Mountain, The Haunted Mansion, The Tiki Room, and Radiator Springs. The rain cleared up. It was beautiful out, and a lot of the crowds were gone. The only ride Emily didn't do that she wanted was Space Mountain. The line was always 60-75 minutes of waiting. We didn't even use the stroller this evening. Andy was so excited to go on whatever they wanted, that he didn't complain about his feet hurting until we were on the tram. It has been a great week. The kids were so good. We had a fabulous time! We made a lot of memories. See ALL pictures here:

Disneyland - Day 8 (Part 1) - April 25th, 2015

The kids slept in till 8, and so we didn't do the extra morning early day. We ate breakfast and got there about 10am. We went to Disney California. It is very crowded. Our fast passes are for 5-6 pm. We went on "The Little Mermaid" ride twice, and then all the rides on Paradise Pier. Andy got to see Donald Duck again. We waited in line for over an hour for the "Toy Story" ride. As we were coming back for lunch, it started raining pretty hard. The kids put on their raincoats for the first time. We borrowed a stroller from the rental house and are using it for Andy. He is just too worn out to walk much more. We ate lunch, and the kids are down for a nap. Andy and Sam fell right asleep. We are going to go back to Disneyland tonight, and stay as long as the kids can survive!!!!It has been a great trip. I loved bringing them.

Disneyland - Day 7- April 24th, 2015

As soon as we got to Disneyland it started raining. It was just enough that we sent Dog back to our car to get our jackets and raincoats. While he was gone, we finally found Donald Duck. Andy has been looking for 4 days for him, so he was super excited. Then we spent 45 minutes in line so Emily could see some Princesses. Emily and Doug went on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Splash Mountain. We also rode Winnie the Pooh, Haunted Mansion, etc. We spent over an hour in the Disney store looking for souvenirs. Emily got a cute little music box. We came back to the house for lunch and were hoping for naps for the kids, but it did not happen. Emily lost a tooth before we went back. I hope the Tooth Fairy comes on vacations.... We went back and walked around, and ate at the Hungry Bear Restaurant. Then we watched "Fantasmic" and the fireworks. I have never seen so many people in one place before. We are all worn out and can hardly walk another step, but we have 1 more day to go, and we still have a lot of things we haven't done yet!! Disneyland - Day 6 - April 23rd, 2015

Today we spent the day in Disney California. We went to "It's A Bug's Life",  Went to the Animation studio and learned how to draw a Disney character, Went in and talked to Crush. He talked to Sam and I, and asked us a few questions. We rode on all the kids rides. We stood in line for 45 minutes to get pictures with Anna and Elsa. We came back home for a lunch break, and then went back and rode Radiator Springs. We watched the Pixar parade, went on Monster's Inc. a couple times. Emily is the only brave one, so she and grandpa went on "The Tower of Terror". The kids are so tired of walking, that we came back and didn't stay for "World of Color" Andy is so sad he hasn't seen Donald Duck, so tomorrow that is our mission..... Here are the rest of today's pictures:

Disneyland - Day 5- April 22nd, 2015

Today while we were getting ready to go to Disneyland for the day, Emily gave me a darling home made birthday card that she had been saving in her suitcase for 5 days. I loved it. We rode the tram to Disneyland, and stayed all day. We went on the Jungle Cruise,  Nemo Submarine, Jedi Training,Tiki Hut, Star Tours, Tarzan's treehouse, and many, many more rides. We watched the parade on Main street, then we rode the Monorail to Downtown Disney and ate at the Rain Forest Cafe for my birthday dinner. It was a great day. Spending the day at "The Happiest Place On Earth" is a great way to celebrate !!!! You can see all today's pictures here:

Disneyland - Day 4- April 21st, 2015

Well today was the big day. I woke the kids up at 7 am, and we walked to the tram ride. It is a 10 minute walk from our rental house. The morning started out a little crazy, because the hot water heater was not working. Good thing I bathed the kids last night. Doug and I both had to shower in the cold!!! (The owners did come and fix the problem while we were gone) We ate breakfast at the Plaza Inn with Minnie and her friends. Then we spent the day riding some of our favorite rides. We met a few characters, and Frozen's Anna and Elsa. The kids were given "1st Time" badges. We found out the boys do not like roller coasters or scary rides, but little Emily LOVES them all. We came home for lunch and to rest a little before heading back until closing. It was cloudy and a lot cooler today. It was great for me. It is so fun seeing Disneyland through a child's eyes!! I am not sure how the rest of the week will go, because they were all worn out and complaining that they couldn't walk anymore. We had to carry Andy home on Doug's shoulders. Pictures here:
