Stephanie and the kids were visiting, so we took them swimming with Jessica's kids. It is over 110 degrees out, so it was very refreshing. Rocky kept running off and trying to jump into the pool where the slide comes down. The kids loved the Hydrotube, and Ali, Izzy, and Mandi dived for over an hour in the deep pool.
Pine Valley Chapel - June 21st, 2015
While camping in Pine Valley, we took the kids to church in the beautiful Pine Valley chapel. There were over 200 visitors there, and we had to sit up on the 3rd floor and watch on a TV. It is the oldest meetinghouse still being used in the United States. It was built in 1868. After church, we went geo caching, and Sam found the first one. Then we went to the Pine Valley Cemetery, and looked at the old headstones.
Pine Valley - June 19-20th, 2015
We took Ali, Mandi and Sam camping to Pine Valley. The weather was great. We had a lot of fun, fishing, hiking, playing in the stream, and they loved riding their scooters on the trails. Mandi liked Metal Detecting. It was a fun weekend.
The "Rock" - June 11th, 2015
Every year, the local radio station has a contest to find the hidden rock (which is worth $10,000.00) so we go out looking for it. Well Lilly went with us this time, but she said she wanted to find the rock, but she only wanted to find a Pink one. That's all she talked about, so we took her one evening, and she would stop on the trail, and squat down and look at all the tiny rocks and pebbles. She was so excited to finally find the Pink one!!!! (before we left, I painted a rock Pink, and we hid it where we were looking so she could find it!!)
Slip-N-Slide - June 8th, 2015
Brad's kids were here while the parents moved a load of furniture to Page. It was a HOT day, so we got out the Slip -n -Slide. It was a great way to cool off. Rocky loved drinking the water.
