Sedona - April 21-24th, 2016

We went to Sedona. Tonya and Kevin met us there. We stayed at Rancho Sedona RV Park. For my birthday we rented a 4 person Razor, and went 4 wheeling. It was fun to drive. We went to some old Indian Ruins built into the side of the mountain. It was a lot of fun. That night we had a great Italian dinner, and then strolled around the Village.

Today we went on a couple fun hikes. The first was to Fay Canyon. It has a cool arch, and some awesome formations. The weather was perfect.

After lunch we went on another drive and hike to Robbers Roost. This is a cave high up in the mountains where robbers would ride on their horses and hold up in this cave. It is quite a steep climb, but once you make it, you can see out for miles. On the way there, we passed a lot of snakes out crossing the roads. The ranger said they were out all over, and to be careful. On the hike to the cave, Tonya and I were afraid of every stick, and bush we had to pass!! The view from the cave made it all worth it!

Dance Competition - April 16th, 2016

Izzy and Emily and their dance teams came to St George to be in a competition. They looked beautiful, and they did a great job. They have only been taking lessons for a few months, and they have really learned a lot, and they have so much fun dancing!!

MaKayla turns 21!!!! - April 14th, 2016

It is very hard to believe that our oldest granddaughter is 21! Where did the time go? She is an amazing young women. She is working at the hospital in the OR, and she also works nights at Texas Roadhouse, plus she is going to school. We don't see her very much right now, but when she comes over we have a good time. We were able to go to dinner for her birthday, and then she left to go to Vegas with some friends, and then she is going on a cruise. I hope she has fun and enjoys her week!!!

Lilly - April 11th, 2016

I get to tend Lilly while Jessica goes to the gym, and today she wanted a fort, so I got out this darling card table house that Luann made for MaKayla when she was little. It is very detailed. There are windows, doors, flowers, a fireplace, etc. She had so much fun playing in it. She said she needed a phone, so I got out this old rotary phone for her. She laughed and said: " that is not a phone" So I showed her how to dial the numbers, and then she loved it. She called "Cinderella" and told her all about the silly phone. She is so cute!

Zion National Park - April 1-3rd, 2016

We went to Zion with Scott and Brad's families, and we brought Ali and Sam. We camped next to the river, and the kids had fun playing on the sandy beach next to our camp. We hiked and found some Petroglyphs that are not listed on the visitor map. All we knew was, we had to park next to a wooden fence, so we drove around until we found the fence. The next day, we rode the shuttle and got off and hiked to the lodge and had ice cream. We had fun sitting around the fire, and just hanging out together!
