New Years Eve - December 31st, 2017

We had a quiet New Year's Eve. Jessica's family came for Ham dinner. We played games with everyone. Jessica and Justin left at 9 pm, and Doug went to bed. Lilly lasted until 10:30. Sam, Ali, and Mandi and I stayed up to ring in the New Year. We played a game of Scrabble to keep us awake!!

Christmas Day - December 25th, 2017

It was fun chaos watching everyone open their presents. We skyped with all our family that was missing.  Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve - December 24th, 2017

New Christmas jammies are the best! Even the dogs matched. The program was beautiful. Justin sang Silent Night in 3 different languages. I loved our live Nativity. All the grandkids that were here participated even if they didn't want to, because they know how much it means to me. I love them all!!! The 3 Wisemen were waiting patiently for their entrance...who knew it wasn't in the version Doug read, so he had to improvise and change the story, so that the Wisemen could follow the star. It all turned out great!!

Gingerbread Houses - December 24th, 2017

We went to the Christmas program at church,  and then came home and they made Gingerbread houses. They are all so different and unique!

Stockings - December 23rd, 2017

Scott's family arrived and the stockings are hung. I love having family here for Christmas. We went to Tuacahn and watched the Live Nativity.

Christmas Lights - December 18th, 2017

We went with Jessica's family to see the lights at the St. GeorgeTemple. Inside they have a beautiful display of Nativities set up from all over the world. Then we went downtown to the city center and walked around. Then we came back home and had hot chocolate and donuts!

Polar Express - December 15th, 2017

Brad's kids were in town so we took them to the downtown Polar Express. They had fun decorating cookies, riding the train, having hot chocolate, and of course, visiting Mr and Mrs Claus!
