Andy and Emily were here and they helped me bottle cherries. They had fun pulling off the stems and filling all the bottles. We did 14 jars.They were great helpers!
Pine Valley - June 16th, 2018
We had a blast in Pine Valley. We saw a Woodpecker, and watched it for quite awhile. Lilly got her very own fish. She almost lost her pole. The fish started pulling her pole into the water. We grabbed it and she reeled in her fish!! We learned about the circles in the tree stumps, we made S’mores in the microwave because it was too windy for an outside fire. We saw over 20 deer, 5 Badgers, 2 Wild Turkeys. It was a great weekend.
Veyo Pool - June 13th, 2018
We bought a pass to the Veyo Pool. (It is a natural hot spring) They also have a river that Sam loves catching Crawdads in. There is also rock climbing. They re did the pool over the winter, and they have put in lots of tiles with bugs, snakes, etc. in the tiles. The kids have fun trying to find them all. It is a lot cooler there than here in St. George.
60's Party - June 2nd, 2018
Our friend Shirley Bowen invited us to her 60th themed birthday party. Doug and I went as hippies. We had fun planning what we were going to wear. We won the prize for the Best Costumes!!
