Doug Turns 65 - July 20-24th, 2018

We took Mandi camping to Duck Creek for 4 days. We had a lot of fun fishing, hiking, making S'mores, playing games, and playing around camp. The weather was beautiful. Every evening we would have a few deer right in our camp. Mandi caught a lot of fish, and she would take ours off the line and throw them back in for us!

Gwyneth & Andrea - July 12-14th, 2018

Gwyneth and Andrea came to spend a week with us for the summer. They played the Wii, went out to eat, went swimming, we played board games, went to the Daughters of Utah Pioneer museum, shopping for a new school outfit, went to the movie with grandpa called "The Wasp". They helped me do our Friday house cleaning. They like reaching up to dust where I can't. We had a fun week with them!

Mandi's 13th Birthday - July 9th, 2018

Mandi is 13! She is a beautiful young women now. She took Gwyneth and Andrea swimming to Sand Hollow pool. We all went to Golden Corral for dinner, then we had cake and presents at her house. 

Lagoon - July 7th, 2018

We went with Jessica's and Scott's families to Lagoon to celebrate Mandi's birthday. We went on all the rides a few times. We ate lots of junk. We rode the train, went to Pioneer Village, etc. It was a fun day. I hope Mandi will always remember the special picture we took at my favorite spot. I have always loved Lagoon! (The only bad thing was that Justin got food poisoning, and was VERY sick at the end of the day)

4th of July - July 4th, 2018

We went to the parade in St. George. It was so hot. The parade didn't have any floats or marching bands... kind of disappointing. Sam and Lilly had fun trying to get the candy that was thrown out. (one of the cars from a dentist office were throwing out Broccoli...) Then Lilly played on a water slide. That night MaKayla, Skyler, Ali, Mandi, Doug and I went to the Scotty McCreery concert at the football stadium. He did a great job, but it was too hot to really enjoy it. The fireworks were really good though!
