Las Vegas - December 29th, 2018

Today we went to the Flamingo casino and walked through the gardens. We saw Flamingos, and we stopped at a bird exhibit, and had our picture taken with the Parrots. Then we went to the Bellagio, and saw the Christmas decorations in the Conservatory. It was very pretty. Then we rode the new ride the High Roller. It takes 30 minutes and it goes up up above 500 feet. It was a little scary, but I was brave and finally took a few pictures and looked out at the awesome view!!!

Las Vegas - December 28th, 2018

We went with Brad's family to Las Vegas for a mini getaway. We stayed at the Golden Nugget Casino. We met up with a lot of Stephanie's family and ate at a Seafood place. The kids really enjoyed the crab, shrimp, etc. Then we went to the Ethel M Chocolate factory to see all the lights.

Christmas 2018

Doug bought me a 6 ft tall Nutcracker for the front yard. I love it. We went to the Temple grounds, and saw the Nativity in front of the Temple, and also the display inside the visitors center. On Christmas Eve Jessica's family came, and after dinner, we had a program and had everyone act out The Live Nativity story. We also played a game called the Saran Wrap game. Then everyone opened their new pajamas!!

Funeral for Grandpa Hawker - December 14th, 2018

Douglas Ralph Hawker - (October 4th 1931- December 6th 2018) Today we had the funeral for Doug's dad. He was buried in Larkin Memorial Gardens in Sandy, Utah. He died from complications from his Diabetes. A lot of family came to the funeral including 6 of the 7 remaining siblings.
