Lilly turned 7 today. She is into anything to do with unicorns. We went to her house for cake and presents. She is such a fun little girl!
San Felipe - Day #8 - March 24th, 2019
We got up early and cleaned the cabana, and closed it down until next time. We ate breakfast at a little cafe in San Felipe. We were at the border for almost 2 hours. It is a good feeling when we cross back into the U.S.A. !! It took 13 hours to get home. We dropped Mandi off and then came home and unpacked. It was a great vacation!!
San Felipe - Day #7 - March 23rd, 2019
Our last day here. We tried to kayak, but it was way too rough. We went out to the tide pools, and found lots of cool stuff. We found 2 octopus, stingray, star fish, etc. It was a fun day. It is hard to leave here. After dinner we started packing up the cabana.
San Felipe - Day #6 - March 22nd, 2019
We relaxed all day. It is too cold to be out very long. Brad and Doug tried to get rid of the bees again. They both got stung. The girls got tired of the braids and we spent an hour taking out all the little beads, etc. Stephanie bought a cake and we celebrated Brad's birthday.
San Felipe - Day #5 - March 21st, 2019
We drove to Shell beach. My van got stuck in the sand, so Brad pulled it out with his car. We walked for 2 hours and found lots of shells and sand dollars. After lunch we played games, and then drove out to the dump. That is quite a fun experience to see how they get rid of their trash. Izzy drove to the dump and back. She did a great job. Brad made a makeshift bee suit, and tried to smoke out the honey bees. It didn't work.
San Felipe - Day #4 - March 20th, 2019
There was a cool wind blowing today. Mandi found a dead Eel that had just washed up on the shore. We relaxed and stayed in the cabana and played games, and read books most of the day. The moon was full and looked so pretty on the water!
San Felipe - Day #3 - March 19th, 2019
We had a very relaxing day. I got up early and got some beautiful shots of the sunrise. We rode 4 wheelers up and down the beach. The kids made sand castles, and buried each other in the sand. We played frisbee. We went on the kayaks. The water is a little too cold for swimming. We took walks. We had tacos for dinner. It was a beautiful day!
