Deer Creek - July 28th, 2019

Driving home from Park City, we drove past Deer Creek. It was so peaceful watching the boats out on the water. We also saw the Heber Creeper parked near the dam. Then driving down Provo Canyon we saw a glimpse of Bridal Veil Falls!!

Park City Canyons Village - July 27th, 2019

Tonight we rode the ski lift to the top of the Canyons Village. It was a beautiful ride. Then we hiked around at the top for a little while. The weather is so much cooler here.

Utah Olympic Park - July 27th, 2019

This afternoon we went to the Utah Olympic Park and watched the ski jumpers practicing for the Olympics. They jump into the water. It was fun to watch. Most of them are 15-20 years old.

Park City, Utah - July 27th, 2019

Today we drove over to Midway. It is a beautiful small town with a Dutch influence. Most of the older houses have murals painted on their houses. The town hall has a clock that opens ever hour and wooden dancers come out of the clock and sing and dance. Then we saw an antique store where Doug found an old truck he would love to have!!!

Park City, Utah - July 25th, 2019

While in Park City, we invited Scott and family up for the afternoon. Gwyneth and Andrea went swimming, while us old folks sat in the hot tub. Then we had a bar-b-q and played games. It was fun having them come and visit. Doug and I went for a nice walk in the cooler weather.

Doug's 66th Birthday - July 23rd, 2019

For Doug's 66th birthday we went to Park City with Beth and Dave. We went to a fun place for dinner that had old cars and motorcycles for the decor. We are in a beautiful condo that Beth's work rented for her. We all worked on this hard puzzle. For one of his presents, I surprised Doug with his first (and probably only) pedicure...

Mandi is 14! July 9th, 2019

I can't believe Mandi is 14 years old. Last night I took her and some of her cousin's to the play "The Little Mermaid" out at Tuacahn. Then today her and Emily went to the city pool. Tonight we all went to The Pizza Factory for dinner. Then we went back to her house for cake and presents. We gave her a record player. She is such a fun girl to be around! She is growing into such a beautiful young lady!!!

Duck Creek - Day # 3 & 4 - July 5-6th, 2019

On Friday, we fished for a few hours. Andy got hit in the back of his head with his sinker. It bled for awhile, but is ok. We went to Aspen Mirror Lake later, but the fishing was not very good, so we came back and played games. The boys played with some new friends they met. Then we watched "The Shaggy Dog".  Saturday we started the morning with the Fireman's breakfast. The boys rode in the fire trucks, learned how to escape a burning house, and how to spray the fire hose. They had fun. But the highlight for them was that Brad flew the helicopter in from Page, Az. Everyone got to see him land, and then they got to look inside the helicopter. The boys were so excited to see their dad. Rocky kept telling everyone we saw, that his dad was the pilot! That night we went to the local parade. They had all the 4 wheelers, etc. decorated. The boys got a lot of candy.
