Pine Valley - May 27-30th, 2022

We spent the weekend in beautiful Pine Valley, camping and fishing. It was a lot cooler than normal. MaKayla and Alex came and spent time with us. I didn't take many pictures, and the ones of Alex fishing were very blurry. They went walking on the trail with me this morning. We played a lot of games, and had a good time catching up. We spent an hour at the Pine Valley Cemetery. There are a lot of pioneers buried there. It was a great weekend!

Visiting Scott's Family - May 20-22nd, 2022

We went to visit Scott and family for the weekend.  That night, we decided to watch "Dunderklumpen". I hadn't seen that movie since our kids were little. It really is a strange movie....

The next morning we helped do some yard work.  We went to lunch at the Pasta Factory. Then the girls and I went for a walk. Gwyneth brought her bird, and Ellie her dog. It was fun watching the granddaughters playing on the swings.

While we were there, Scott showed us his 3D printer. He asked if I wanted him to make me something, so I had him make me a rose. He also made a little Octopus for Andrea! It was a very fun process to watch. It took all day for it to mold the plastic. Then he cleaned it and lastly he painted it. I will keep the rose forever.

Before we came home we decided to celebrate the 3 May birthdays. Scott, Ellie, and Andrea. We got a cupcake for the girls and a mini cheesecake fro Scott.

Another Tree Gone... May 20th, 2022

Today we had another of our shade trees cut down. It started dying last year when we took out the one next to it. They think maybe it shared a root system, but I think it just got lonely without it's friend tree!!!

Vacation Rental House - May 2022

We bought a vacation rental house in Florida. We went in half with Beth and Dave. We had to furnish the whole thing. We also bought a golf cart to get to the beach.  It is 2 minutes away. It was a lot of work to furnish and decorate it. Doug and Dave put up all the TV's, etc. and they built gates on both sides. It looks great. We named it "It's A Wonderful Life". It is at 529 Christmas Tree Lane. We hope a lot of people rent it out!!
