Thanksgiving - November 24-28th, 2022

We went to Phoenix to spend time with Tonya and Kevin this year. Tonya made a yummy apple pie, and we made some pumpkin pies.  We watched the Macy Thanksgiving parade while the turkey was cooking. Kevin's sister and family were in town for soccer games, so they came to dinner. We visited and worked on a puzzle. Tonya finished it after we left. We watched the remake of "The Christmas Story "with Ralphie. We also binged watched a new series called "Wednesday" from the Addams Family. We went to a few stores on Black Friday, but mostly just window shopped. Tonya and Kevin are remodeling their house and showed us some of the paint, flooring and granite choices. They took us out to a wonderful Steak dinner for our 51st wedding anniversary! On the way home we stopped at Jacobs Lake and I played in the snow for a minute. 

Hiking with Lilly - November 12th, 2022

Doug and I took Lilly hiking on Saturday. It was another perfect day here in Southern Utah! She had a lot of fun climbing over boulders and imagining all kinds of fun things. I think her favorite was the stick that she found. She said she was King of the World! She thought it's shadow looked like a deer horns. We showed her where some turtle dens were. She had fun exploring all the cool formations and "caves" she found, and crossing logs over the little stream. She said we crossed under a portal into Narnia!!! 

Hike Out Back - Nov. 6th, 2022

 After church today, Doug and I decided it was too nice to just sit and watch TV, so we went for a walk out back. It was beautiful. I wish we had time to go more often. It is too hot in the summer, and gets dark after work in the winter, so we don't go often. We are so lucky to have this 5 minutes from our house!

November Birthdays 2022

I wasn't at any of the Nov. birthdays in person, but I did get some pictures. Gwyneth, Kevin, and Ali all had birthdays this week.  Ali is 20, Gwyneth is 18!!
