Cynthia's 69th Birthday - April 21-23rd, 2023

We went on our first camping trip for the year. We took Mandi and went to Zion National Park. Because of all the rain this year, there were a LOT of waterfalls. We ate at the Pizza Noodle, drove through the tunnel to Checkerboard Mesa, rode the shuttle and hiked to Weeping Rock. The weather was beautiful. On our drive we actually some Bighorn sheep on the side of the road, so Mandi had to have one for herself! Also, the big tree in the campground in Zion has finally fallen down. I got a picture standing on it. All our kids and grandkids used to play on that big tree. We stayed in Zion River Resort this time, which is about a 20 minute drive to the park. It was a nice campground. It was a great birthday weekend.

Easter Sunday - April 9th, 2023

Doug and I went to church for the Easter program. Then Jessica's family had an Easter egg hunt here. MaKayla and Izzy came later for dinner. We had a Bar b q, and played games. If we counted right, there is still a missing plastic egg out in the back yard somewhere!!!

Easter Car Show - April 8th, 2023

After 2 years, and over 600 hours , Doug has finished the restoration of his '57 Chevy. He decided to enter it in his first car show. It was the Easter car show in Hurricane, Ut. It looked great and the people really like the color of it. It is kind of funny, but the people who seemed to like it the most were older ladies in their 60's!!!

Puzzles & Pansies - April 2nd, 2023

I love Pansies. I planted them in Oct. (6 months ago) and they survived the winter. They look so pretty. The dark purple with the yellow center has been my favorite flower since I was a little girl!

We  finished a new puzzle this week. It was a fun one. We did it in sections. It had letters on the back so we could figure out witch ones went where.
