Today was our anniversary. We drove home from Las Vegas. We unpacked and then brought in our Christmas bins to start decorating the house. We put up our Christmas Tree. It has been a great 52 years. I love Doug.

Thanksgiving - November 22-26th, 2023
This year for Thanksgiving (and our anniversary) we went to Las Vegas. Tonya and Kevin met us there. We rented a nice VRBO with a pool and hot tub. We had our dinner catered from Cracker Barrel. It was nice not having to cook and clean, but the food was not as good as home cooked, and we didn't have any leftovers... We hung out in the hot tub, and then watched the Macy Day Parade. We worked on a puzzle. That night we went to the LVMS to a drive through Christmas light show. Then we watched Christmas Vacation and had a fire.
The next day we swam, watched"Elf", worked on the puzzle, and that night we went to the Sphere and saw the show "Postcard From Earth". It was like a huge IMAX theater. The scenes from around the world were amazing. I didn't like the heights in the sphere. We were up 4 escalators, and I hated the feeling like I was going to fall out of my seat.
On our last day there we went shopping to Hobby Lobby and the mall. Doug and Kevin went to a car factory tour while we shopped. That night we went to the Sign Boneyard where they retire all the old neon signs from the casinos. It was really cool to see. It was cold out so we stopped and got hot chocolate on the way back to the rental house. It was a fun weekend.
Emily Making Her Quilt - November 22, 2023
Emily has been working on her denim quilt for a while now. She doesn't come to St George very often, so she doesn't have much time, but today she sewed for a couple of hours. It will be beautiful when it is done. She is making a queen size and she has done all the sewing so far.
Car Show at Tuacahn - November 18th, 2023
Today Doug put his car in the show at Tuacahn. There were a lot of people there. Doug gets a lot of comments from people about how great he did doing all the work himself. A lot of the people buy cars from someone else, and the work is all done for them. I am very proud of him.
Flag in Snow Canyon State Park - November 18th, 2023
For Veterans Day there is a huge traveling flag going around the country. It was in Snow Canyon State Park for a week. It was very impressive to see it. They had to use a Helicopter to install it. They had a Veterans Day program when they unveiled it!
Chimney Sweep - November 8th, 2023
It has been a warm fall season, and today was a nice day, so Doug got on the roof and cleaned our chimney. I hate him climbing up there. It has been a couple of years since the last time. It wasn't very dirty at all, but now we can have some fires when it gets cold!
Ali is 21!! - November 5th, 2023
Ali turned 21 this year. She spent the day with her friends. These are some pictures they took. They took her to Sakura for dinner. She also had some pictures taken with Kayden, her boyfriend!
Car Show at Sand Hollow - November 4th, 2023
Doug entered his car in a show at Sand Hollow. It was held on the golf course. We had to get there at 7:30 am. It was very cold. We went into the clubhouse to warm up before the show started. There were a lot of cars at this show. His car looked beautiful next to the red mountains. He got a lot of comments on the color of his car. Mandi came out to see this show.
