Tonight we ordered pizzas and Jessica's family came and we all celebrated New Year's Eve with Scott's family too. We ate junk and played 6 hours of fun simple games. We gave out 50 prizes. I think everyone enjoyed the games. Most of them were minute to win it games. Ellie made a pin the star on the Firecracker game . Justin/Jessica had us play some acting mind games. It was a very fun evening.

At midnight we lit sparklers and banged pots and pans. Happy New Years!!!!
After I taught primary, Scott and I and the girls went on a 6 mile hike to Scout's cave in Snow Canyon. It was sunny and perfect weather. They had never been there. The hike goes through lava beds, desert sand, a lot of inclines, and rock climbing. It was hard on me, but I made it with Scotts help.
Scott's family came for the weekend. (Andrea was sick, so she and Luann couldn't come) After breakfast, Scott and Ellie and Gwyneth helped us trim all the Oleanders and some trees and we took them to the dump. It went pretty quick with their help. Then we went hiking out back and showed them some turtle dens. It was a great day for a hike. After dinner we played a few fun games. Doug hurt his hip a few days ago, and couldn't go hiking!

I cooked a turkey dinner and Jessica's family came for dinner. Before we ate, we all went outside and opened our "poppers". They had tiny surprises in them. Instead of acting out the Nativity, we watched one on TV from "The Chosen ". It was good. We played a fun trivia game and opened PJ's, and then they opened their presents from us. Brad's family sent a picture of them in their pj's! It was a nice evening. I wish all the kids and grandkids lived closer so we could all get together.
