Amelia is 6 months old today. She is smiling and gooing all the time. She is still tiny. Here are some pictures from December. This was her first Christmas! We love her!
Christmas Day - December 25th, 2024
Doug and I slept in this morning, We made breakfast and then opened our stockings. We Face timed all the kids and watched them open gifts. Then we opened ours. We had agreed to only spend $100 on each other this year. I gave Doug a wallet, special toenail clippers, a mug from Switzerland, and a puzzle. I got a ladies shaver, and slippers, and some money. Santa brought us a new Coleman cooler.
Christmas Eve - December 24th, 2024
We had a quiet Christmas Eve this year. Jessica's family came for ham dinner. Then we watched the Nativity story. Sam and Justin pantomimed "O Holy Night". Then they opened pajamas. They opened our gifts to them. They gave us a fun wooden puzzle! I miss the old days when we had everyone here, but everyone's family is growing and doing their own traditions. Our neighbors that come caroling every year, came in and sang a few songs for us. (I got Tonya, Brad, and Scott's family pictures off off Facebook to add to my blog!) Andrea is wearing a bow around her leg because she got a tattoo and wanted it to be a surprise.
Advent Puzzle - December 2024
Brad's family sent us an Advent puzzle for Christmas this year. Each day we pull out the corresponding box and do 42 pieces. It is very easy to do that way. It was fun seeing the progress over the month of December.
Grandkid Tree - December 22nd, 2024
I decided to print off updated pictures of the grandkids, and also add baby Amelia to my Christmas tree. I have pictures of all the grandkids from when they were little up to now. That is what Christmas is all about!
