Here are a few pictures of Amelia this month. She is doing good, and is now 10 pounds 5 ounces. She turned 5 months old this week. She is smiling and gooing. She is adorable!
Pie Night /Thansgiving 2024
This year we decided to try something different. The night before Thanskgiving, we had Pie Night. Brads family was in town so they came, and so did Ali and Kayden. Izzy brought her friend Santiago. MaKayla, Kolten and baby Amelia also were here. Everyone brought different kinds of pie, and even a cake that looked like a pie... and we ate lots of pie, and visited for a couple hours. It was fun. We had our first fire for the season. I think Pie night was a hit, and it will be a new fun tradition!
The next morning, Doug and I watched the Macy's parade and the Rockette's. Later in the day Jessica's family came for Thanksgiving dinner. We had a good meal, and then watched Vacation movie and played some games.
Florida - November 9-16th, 2024
Doug and I flew to Florida for a week. We stayed at Beth and Dave's. They have remodeled their house. It looks amazing. We have our own side of the house when we stay there. They have added a door out to the pool from our room. On Sunday we went to church with them. They are in a tiny Branch and have their meeting in an office building. On Monday, Beth and I got pedicures. On Tuesday& Wednesday, we drove to Tallahassee. We went to the Temple open house. It is small but very pretty. Then we went to the Tallahassee Automobile museum. The guy that owns it has a collection of just about everything you can imagine...Cars, dolls, piano's, dishes, antiques of every kind. We swam in their pool a few times, and Beth and I did water aerobics. On Saturday, we drove to Destin and did some shopping. Doug bought me the most expensive purse I have ever owned. It is a Michael Kors. We played a lot of card games, and helped them decorate for Christmas. We took the golf cart to the beach and saw the sunset. It was a fun trip!
Alize - November 5th, 2024
Ali turned 22 today. Kayden, and her friends, took her to Salt Lake City for her birthday. We gave her her gift before she left.
Sam - November 4th, 2024
Today I picked Sam up after school and took him to the Drivers License Division. He took his test for his learners permit. He passed, and is finally able to practice driving. He can get his actual license in 6 months.
