Amelia is 10 months old. She can sit up by herself now. She rolls all over to reach things. She loves to eat and tries everything. She makes the cutest faces. Here are some pictures from this month!!

Hiking - April 29th, 2025
We decided to see how far I could hike. First time in 11 weeks. We went to Ivins to look for Tortoises (didn't see any). I didn't make it very far. My foot ached a little, but my back and hip hurt really bad, so we only made it about .70 of a mile total. It took over 40 minutes. I had steroid injections last week, so I hope they kick in soon. It felt good to be out again, but I am NOT ready to do any long hikes yet....
Turning 71 Years Old - April 22nd, 2025
This year we stayed home for my birthday. We are usually at a National Park, but because of my surgery we decided to say home because I can not hike yet. All the kids and most of the grandkids called or stopped by. I got some beautiful flowers and Chocolate covered strawberries. Doug got me a walking pad (like a small treadmill) for when I can start walking every day. It was a nice quiet day. I am so Old!!!
Walking Boot Off - April 18th, 2025
Today I finally got to quit using my walking boot. It has been almost 10 weeks since my surgery. It was very strange to walk without it. I had to re learn how to walk. I kept turning my foot out and limping... It was a weird sensation to walk without it. I am still supposed to wear it if I go shopping, or on walks, but I am not going to. I am so done with it. It felt good to put all the handicapped stuff away like the Crutches, IWalk, Scooter, Walker, Shower chair , etc.
MaKayla is 30! - April 14th, 2025
Brads family came to town so we all met up at Big Shots to celebrate. Everyone took turns hitting golf balls. It was fun seeing them all play. I just played with Amelia! I feel so old now that MaKayla is 30!!!
