Amelia - 14 months old - August 30th, 2025

Here are some pictures of Amelia this month. I don't have many because I had Covid and couldn't tend her for 2 weeks. She is starting to walk along the couch, and stand for a few seconds at a time. She loves to listen to music, and wants me to turn it on anytime we are down in the family room. She gets so excited when it comes on the big screen.

Football - August 29th, 2025

We drove to Page. We went to Andy's 1st football game of the season. They lost. Andy is a good player. He is very fast. He got tackled and his back is hurting. I took a few videos, but not many pictures. Look how tall he is now!! Almost 16! Emily was helping the school council keep everyone cheering, and she passed out lots of treats.

Puzzle - August 12th, 2025

We started a new puzzle a couple of days ago. It is Route 66. This was actually the fastest we ever finished a puzzle.

New Lamp - August 9th, 2025

Because I gave Izzy my lamp for her birthday, I needed to find a new one.  Emily wants it someday, and I told her yes, and then realized I had also told Izzy she could have it!! So I looked all over the internet, and found one on EBay. I had to pay more to ship it here, than it cost to buy it. Doug put it together for me. I don't think Emily will ever know it is a different lamp, because it is the exact same, except it doesn't have 3 way dimmer. It is only one brightness...

School Haircuts - August 6th, 2025

Today I took Sam and Lilly to get haircuts. Lilly just needed a couple inches off. I forgot to get her before picture.

Sam needed a cut very badly, but was afraid she would cut it too short. He was only going to get a trim....But she had him look at styles, and the first one he saw, he decided to get a new style. It looks great. Just in time for picture day next week!!

Izzy Birthday - August 5th, 2025

Izzy is 22 years old! Tonight we went to Chili's for her dinner. It was just MaKayla, Amelia, Ali and Kayden, and us. I couldn't wait to give her her present. It is a long story. Maybe she will tell you about it someday. She has always wanted the little lamp that is on my nightstand. She asked to have it when I am gone. I told her yes, and then I forgot and also told Emily she could have it. Well, I decided to give it to Izzy now so she could enjoy it while I am living. She LOVED it. People in the restaurant were probably wondering what she was so excited about. I have never seen her smile so big!!!
