We got to tend Lilly for 4 days while Jessica, Justin and the 3 older kids went on a vacation to Legoland California. She is such a fun little girl. She is talking really well and she let us know what she wanted. Once in a while it was frustrating when we couldn't figure out what she meant. They brought her crib, and the first night she cried most of the night for her parents, but then she was fine. She loves to eat, and ate everything we gave her. We took her for walks, played lots of toys with her (her favorite is the old Fisher Price farm we have had for 40 years), watched "Land Before Time" a few times, went shopping for new shoes and clothes & a new pillow (she drags her old one around everywhere and it is full of holes), played outside in the rain, played dress up, etc. It was a lot of fun having her here by herself.
