Duck Creek - July 22-26th, 2020

We spent 5 days at Duck Creek. Scott's family came with us. We had a lot of fun fishing, playing board games, hiking, eating, painting, playing yard games, watching Narnia movies, and sitting around the fire, etc. It was 50 degrees cooler up there than here in St. George. Every afternoon the rain came. We had hail, lightening and thunder. It got very muddy, but we still had fun.

Here are the painting pictures:

Playing Corn Hole, , S'mores, Jiffy Pop, Exploring Mammoth Cave:

Doug and Sam got up early to fish. I walked from camp to the lake and back. It was a beautiful morning:

We hiked up to the big tree. The trail and the meadow was so pretty from all the rain. We stopped and wrote Lilly's name in her tree. All the grandkids found "Christmas" trees their size. They had fun signing and playing at the amphitheater:

Besides catching the biggest fish of the weekend, Sam is always catching horned toads, and snakes:

We celebrated Doug's birthday while camping. It was a good day even though it poured and hailed in the afternoon:

We decided to try our luck and fished at Navajo Lake. We were the only people there. It was very peaceful. Some of us (not me...) caught quite a few fish:

She was so excited, that we would play her unicorn game with her. It is actually a lot harder than it looks:
