Lagoon - July 3-4th, 2020

We took Mandi (for her birthday) and her friend Faith, and met up with Brad's family at Lagoon. We stayed in the campground. It was nice and shady, and we could go back and forth during the day, so we would come back for our meals, and to cool off. It was pretty hot in Lagoon. But there were no crowds so we went on all the rides as many times as we wanted for 2 days. Andy won a big stuffed animal on his first try at one of the tossing games. Rocky and Emily did really well on the hanging bar game. We all got soaked on the log flume ride. Andy and I were on the Terror ride when it broke down, so we had to wait inside and they turned on the lights, so we got to see what it looked like with the lights on. They had to push our car all the way out by hand, so it was a very fun experience. The worker pushing us told us they had names for all the scary people we see, so we got a picture with "Stanley"

Doug and I sent a few hours in Pioneer Village. We went in all the old time stores. They had some very cool exhibits. The history of the telephone was very interesting. There was a huge doll collection, and also a scaled down version of an old fashion circus. We got and ice cream and a funnel cake. Very yummy!  We had a great weekend. It brought back a lot of memories of going there when our kids were little. and On the way home, we stopped at Scott's house and they had a delicious bar be q ready for us in their backyard. It was fun visiting them for awhile.
