New Year's Eve - December 31st, 2025

I can't believe this is the last post of 2025. This year flew by. We decided to stay home and relax. We got a small Fondue set for Christmas, so we had a chocolate fondue. It was yummy. We actually went to bed at 10 pm and didn't stay up to ring in the new year.

Amelia - 18 Months Old - December 30th, 2025

Amelia is 18 months old. Here are a few extra photos of her in December. She is growing up so fast. She is not a baby anymore. She is starting to get a little hair. She says a few words. She learns things so quickly.

Christmas - December - 2025

We spent Christmas with Brad's family in Page this year. We had a good time playing fun games and having great food. This is the first time in 54 years that we were not home on Christmas Eve. The night before we left, Doug and I had a fire, and then he did day #24 on our advent calendar. Here are some pictures at their house, and then some from Scott's, Tonya's, and Jessica's houses that they all sent me. There is also a picture that Ali and Kayden sent from Disneyland at It's A Small World!!!

Here are some pictures of Brad's kids performing the Nativity while Doug read it from the Bible!

Christmas Trees - December 2025

Because we were in the middle of selling the business (story for January...), and we were invited to Brad's house for Christmas this year, we decided to not put up our tree. It was the first time we didn't have one. I actually sold my village, and a bunch of my Nativities and decorations. We didn't put much up. We even sold our outside lights because we are hoping to move in the spring and probably won't need them. So I asked all the kids to send me pictures of their trees. So here are some pictures of their trees.

Red Hills Desert Garden - December 21st, 2025

Doug and I drove to see Christmas lights tonight.  We also stopped at the Red Hills Desert Garden. They have it all lit up for the holiday. It was very pretty.

Amelia at the Park - December, 2025

We are back tending Amelia 2 days a week, and the weather has been so nice.. I have taken her to the park close by our house. We go in the stroller, and then let her get out and run around. She loves it. She still doesn't know how to go down the slides or swings, but she loved trying them, and touching everything. The only problem I have is that when it is time to go home, she does NOT want to get back in the stroller, so I have to let her walk most of the way back.
