We went to the most beautiful garden this morning (after a Mother's Day brunch that Zach and Alex cooked for us.) It's called Streissguth Gardens.
Seattle - Day 3 - May 11th, 2019
On the ferry ride back we got some beautiful pictures of the sunset, and the city skyline. It was fun watching them at the dock lowering the ramp so our cars could drive off the ferry.
Seattle - Day 3 - May 11th, 2019
These pictures were taken on Bainbridge Island. We spent a few hours exploring here.
Doug said he could remember being in this exact place when he was a little kid.
Seattle - Day 3 - May 11th, 2019
We rode the ferry over to Bainbridge Island. It was about a 20 minute trip over. It was beautiful seeing the skyline from the Ferry.
Seattle - Day 2 - May 10th, 2019
After Alex's graduation, we explored downtown Seattle. We saw a lot of cool buildings. The Seattle public library was huge. There were 10 floors. It has escalators to each level. Then we went into the Columbia Center. It is the tallest building in Seattle. The view from the top was amazing.
Seattle - Day 2 - May 10th, 2019
We spent the morning in the famous Pike Place market. There are tons of vendors up and down the wharf. We ate lunch there. Then we went to Benaroya Hall to Alex's graduation from Cornish College of the Arts. We are very proud of him.
Seattle - Day 1- May 9th, 2019
Doug and I drove to Las Vegas and took a flight to Seattle. We had a stop in Sacramento. It took a total of 10 hours to get there. Scott and Luann were there, and they met us at the airport and we rode the train to downtown Seattle to Alex and Zack's apartment. They made us home made pizza for dinner. The flowers here are so pretty. (I got a new camera before we left, and I was having fun learning to take pictures with different color effects)
