Snow! Snow! Snow! - March 13th, 2021

A rare sight here in St George. We woke up to snow, and it snowed for a few hours.  It is so fresh and pretty. It will all melt by tonight though because it is too warm.

 

 

Good Bye Tree!!! March 2nd, 2021

The Ash tree that we had planted out front almost 40 years ago was starting to look awful. The roots were causing problems and so we needed to have the tree cut down. It looks so bare out front now. Hopefully, I can plant a lot of flowers that love the sun.

 

Scout Cave - February 27th, 2021

We took Sam on a hike to Scout cave (it is near Snow Canyon). On the way, Sam found some money under a rock off the trail. He was so excited because it looked like it was real, but after he checked it out, he found out it was Fake money. 

We hiked 4.5 miles. It was through lava beds, sand, and at the end there is a steep hike up some manmade stairs. It is worth it though, because the view from the cave is awesome.

Valentine's Day - February 14th, 2021

 We had Brad's kids here for the weekend. We took them hiking to the Dixie Rock. We have NEVER seen so many people there. There was nowhere to park, and it was hard to keep our distance. It was beautiful weather. We had fun hiking all over the area. 

That afternoon, Sam and Lilly came over and the kids played Frisbee for hours.

Emily loves to cook, and she made Baked Apples for everyone. She did a great job!

Emily Turns 13! - February 6th, 2021

We went to Page for Emily's 13th Birthday. She wanted to make her own cake. We played games, had yummy Dutch Oven dinner, and she opened her presents. She is officially a teenager!! On the way there, it was the first time we had been there since they blew down the smokestacks, It was very strange to see the landscape without them.
