We went to Springville for Gwyneth's birthday. We got her a Bow and Arrow set. She set up a target her parents got her, and started shooting. She learned very quickly, and is pretty good. Then we went to the Pumpkin patch and they all got pumpkins.
Halloween Parade - October 31st, 2018
I went to Sam and Lilly's Halloween parade at their school. She was a unicorn, and Sam was a Minecraft guy! I wish I could have seen all the grandkids in their costumes.
Zion Canyon - October 5-7th, 2018
We took Ali and Lilly to Zion for our last camping trip of 2018. We had great weather the first day. We hiked to Weeping Rock. Then it rained for 2 days. We rode the shuttle up the mountain and back down. Lilly had a lot of fun climbing on the old, dead tree stump by our camp. We rode through the tunnel to the other side to see Checkerboard Mesa. There were a lot of waterfalls because of the rain. We hiked in the rain to town and ate at the old Bumbleberry restaurant. We saw a lot of deer and wild turkeys!
Andy's 9th Birthday - September 24th, 2018
We were in Page, so we celebrated Andy's 9th Birthday. He got a bike from his parents, and a year subscription to XBOX live from us. He was so excited!!
Andy's Football Game - September 22nd, 2018
We went to Page and watched Andy play football. He is the fastest runner on his team. It was so fun watching him play. They won their playoff game and now go on to the championship game.
Paint Night - Sept. 18th, 2018
Tonya was in town for a few days, so she and Jessica and I went to Paint Nite! It was a lot of fun. We started with a blank canvas, and then we followed the instruction of the teacher, and we all drew the same picture. It was a tree with little Lovebirds on the branches. Everyones was a little different.
It was a fun way to spend time with my daughters!!
Duck Creek - Sept. 1-3rd, 2018
We brought Sam and Mandi to Duck Creek for Labor Day weekend. We spent a few hours Geocaching. We caught lots of fish. The also went metal detecting. It rained and hailed so we played games and watched movies in the trailer. The kids had fun playing in the creek, and catching horned toads.
Izzy Turns 15 - August 5th, 2018
Brad's family came to town, so we had cake and presents here for Izzy's 15th birthday. She brought one of her friend with her to go shopping for her birthday. She is growing into such a lovely young lady!!
Doug Turns 65 - July 20-24th, 2018
We took Mandi camping to Duck Creek for 4 days. We had a lot of fun fishing, hiking, making S'mores, playing games, and playing around camp. The weather was beautiful. Every evening we would have a few deer right in our camp. Mandi caught a lot of fish, and she would take ours off the line and throw them back in for us!
