San Felipe - March 17th, 2019

We had a great week in San Felipe, Mexico with Brad and family. We took Mandi with us this time. We drove for over 12 hours to get there. We had the beach to ourselves for 7 days! We only went into town once for dinner, and to get the girls hair braided. Mostly, we relaxed, looked for shells, and creatures when the tide was out, kayak'd, played games in the cabana, ate great food, rode the 4 wheeler, took long walks on the beach, watched the beautiful sunrise every morning, made sand castles, read books, etc. These are pictures from the first day.

Ali's Preference Dance - March 16th, 2019

Tonight was Ali's first school dance. She asked Jake to her Preference Dance. During the day, they went Longboarding and Hammocking in Snow Canyon. They went to dinner at Winger's, and then to the dance. They look very cute together.

Ellie and Luecis Wedding - March 15th, 2019

Today, Ellie and Luecis were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. It was a beautiful ceremony. They are so happy. It was a little cold outside, but they didn't seem to mind, and the pictures turned out great. Everyone had a good time. Tonight, there was a reception in Springville. She looked so pretty. We wish them a lifetime of happiness!!!

Nascar - March 3rd, 2019

We went to the Nascar  race in Las Vegas. We took Mandi, Ali, MaKayla, and they brought Tristan and Jake. It was one of the more boring races, because there were no wrecks, etc. The weather was beautiful though. On the way home, we stopped in Mesquite and had dinner with Mike and Valerie Johnson.

Ellie's Wedding Shower - February 23rd, 2019

We had a luncheon/shower for Ellie today. She came to town to take her wedding photos out in the beautiful red mountains, so we threw this together. It was fun having all 9  granddaughters there. Her wedding photos turned out beautiful, and I can't wait for everyone to see them at her wedding. I want to give a huge thanks to my friend and neighbor Roxanne Petrell for making the beautiful bouquet on the spur of the moment. It looked amazing in the photos!!!

Sam's Dance - February 21st, 2019

Sam's school had their 5th grade Cotillion. They have been practicing for weeks. They had to all dress up. Each dance the boys had to ask different girls to dance. One of the dances they asked their moms to dance. After that, Sam asked me to dance. It was very special to dance with him!

Snow!! February 21st, 2019

We had a snow storm here in St.George. By the time the storm ended, we had 4 inches at our house. That is a very rare sight. Everywhere we went, we saw kids out making snowmen. School was delayed a couple hours so the busses could get around on the icy roads.
