We left early in the morning, and drove to Mexicali, where we met up with Brad's family. Then we crossed the border and drove the 3 hours down to San Felipe. As soon as we got out of the van, we could smell the ocean. We unpacked and set up the Cabana. The weather was beautiful. The kids played in the water (which was smooth as glass). We flew kites, walked along the beach, then we opened Rocky's birthday presents, and had hot dogs over the firepit. With no electronics, we all just hung out and relaxed!!
