Last night during the night, a huge windstorm came through the county. The power was out for about 12 hours. There are a lot of trees blown down, and the yard was covered in branches, and leaves, etc. The neighbors had 3 trees come down on their roof. The missionaries came and we all cleaned up the yard for 5 hours. It was very humid and hot. As we drove around the area, we saw a lot of damage. Roads were closed due to trees in the roadways. We went to a town called Delphi and ate lunch at a little cafe. Then we drove to see Purdue University. It has a huge campus. Tonight, some of her friends flew in from California, and we all went to dinner at a nice restaurant to celebrate Beth and Dave's 4th anniversary. After, we were driving around and saw the most amazing sight. Fireflies!!! They were everywhere. It was like little twinkly lights. They are very hard to get a picture of.
