After breakfast we went to the Greenfield Village. This is next to the Ford museum. It is a village that Henry Ford made. He travelled around the country, and bought old homes and had the original homes brought here. Some of them are: The Ford home, Thomas Edison home, Robert Frost home, Noah Webster home, Wright Brother's home, and a lot of others. There is also the Susquehanna Plantation and bridge, The Farris Windmill, which is the oldest windmill in the US. There are also slave quarters. There is a Post Office, General store, School house, Glass shop, Machine shop, Printing shop, Weaving shop, A Sawmill, etc. We rode on the Weiser Railroad, and in a Model T (original) We went into Menlo Park Laboratory which is where Thomas Edison invented the Lightbulb, Phonograph, and many, many other inventions. We were there for 6 hours, and we didn't see everything. Then we drove 3 hours to Kirtland, Ohio and checked into our hotel, and went out to a yummy Italian dinner.
