Florida - Day #3 - November 18th, 2019

Dave drove us to see the damage from Hurricane Michael from Oct. 2018. It has been a little over a year, and there is still devastation all around.  Trees are still on roofs, and most of the houses still have tarps on them. Then we picked up Beth from work. She has a beautiful office building. After, we went to lunch at a cute cafe called Barefoot Grill. It is right on the beach. (I tried Alligator meat for the first time. It actually tasted like chicken nuggets) The sand is so white and clean and soft. The Gulf is beautiful with so many different colors of blue and turqouise. Then we went to "Ripley's Believe it or Not" museum. There is a lot of interesting stuff in his collection. Tonight we went to Seaside beach and watched the sunset. It was so pretty. Then we ate left over turkey dinner while we watched the movie "Emma and Jane" We played Scrabble and Hand and Foot. It is fun having someone else learn our card games.
