Route 66 Fun Run Car Show - May 2-4th, 2025

Tonya and Kevin invited us to go to Kingman Az. to one of the biggest car shows around. We stayed in a rental house that had a fishing pond out back. It was in a very secluded place outside of Kingman. Doug and I fished while we waited for them to get there from Phoenix. We didn't see or catch any fish. The next morning we drove 10 minutes to town and spent the next 3 hours watching the 800 classic cars arriving for the car show. They had all come from Seligman, which was 87 miles away, and after Kingman, they all drive through to California. The cars line up all over town in front of the stores, etc. It took a few hours to walk around and see all the cars. (My back was hurting really bad, and so I had to stop  and sit a lot on the benches, while Doug , Tonya, and Kevin looked at all the cars.)  There were some really nice ones. I think that maybe next year Doug will enter his '57 Chevy in the show.. It will be the 100 year anniversary of  Route 66.
