Snow!!! - December 8th, 2013

On our way home from Las Vegas, we hit the snowstorm just past Mesquite. Driving through the Gorge was very windy, icy, and scary. In the 23 years we have lived here in the desert, we have never had this much snow. There were accidents all over the freeway. We were lucky and made it out of the Gorge before they shut down the freeway. (people were stranded for up to 12 hours) At our house we got 6 inches of beautiful white fluffy snow!! I love it. It makes it seem like Christmas now. It got down to 1 degree last night, so hopefully it will last a few days.
