Trip to Nauvoo - Day #8 - September 28th, 2019

We left Branson at 8 am. We drove to Kansas City, Mo. On the way we stopped at a quilting shop, and then an awesome Antique store in Amish country. We saw quite a few buggies going down the roads. We ate at The Cheesecake factory for one last meal before the airport. Kansas City has the most beautiful architecture. Lots of old buildings! Our flight was delayed for an hour because of a severe lightning storm. (It was too dangerous for the workers to go out and load the luggage onto the planes) We flew to Las Vegas and then drove home. We got to St. George at 10 pm. It was a long 14 hour travel day. I already miss Nauvoo and Carthage.
